here is my rant.
last night, galaxian referred to the great and wonderful idea of Eskom(mando) to save electricity by cutting ours. aka ‘loadshedding’. except he called it ‘loadshitting’.
i have to say, KUDOS. he’s right. it is indeed a load.of.shit.
So this morning, sensible citizen, good friend and previous protege, Kir, sends me the new LoadShitting schedule, effective Monday.
I am not stupid. I am relatively well-educated, well-read and not entirely unaware of geographical delineations. Hence, you would think I would be able to at the very least, get a vague idea of when I can expect to be dealing with a load of shit.
But, I AM FUCKED, if I can decipher this schedule. Seriously. Now we have “Blocks A to R” and on not one can I find my Suburb Name.
So.I’m sensible, I look at all the Suburb Names that COULD possibly refer to my little neck of the woods (both home and office).
Taking into consideration that it could be any of them, I now have a possible LoadShitting schedule that runs, from 06h00 to 20h30, every day, barring Sundays.
SOMEBODY. PLEASE. EXPLAIN. THIS. CRAP. TO. ME.
