I sometimes find my poetry a little wankfesty so don’t like sharing it much. Maybe i think it’s weak or something. Hence the password-protected post.

Sometimes a line just drops into my head and I have to run with it so, I do.

This is about nobody in particular.

i hope you love her in all the ways you promised you would love me and never did.

i hope you love her with intention, with purpose, with feeling and without avoidance.

i hope you love her in the manner that exceeds all reason.

i hope you love her without regret or boundary line.

i hope you love her with the exuberance of a nine-year old who finds a Nintendo under the Christmas tree.

i hope you love her without fear of your own growth.

i hope you love her so much she feels you even when you are away from her side.

i hope you love her that way, that way love is supposed to be.

i hope you love her and that she is all that you can see.

i hope you love her better than you ever loved me.
