I had a choice just now – to continue on my to do list and then go buy cheese (we keep running out – do we have a mouse or something?) or to do a little short blogpost about cheesy music.
The cheesy music won. Here’s a thing about cheesy music – it’s an instant moodlifter, it will not make you cry and, in all likelihood, you may shake your bonbon in your chair as you carry on walking. Cheesy music will make you sing. It will make you fist pump and you will – in all likelihood – bust out at inappropriate times with a catchy lyric. I mean, we have ALL been alone in a lift and randomly burst into song…only to have the doors open and have someone staring at you as you’re pulling one of these moves..
So, love it or hate it, it’s probably going to get stuck in your head at some point, causing you to make a complete winner out of yourself in some social setting (or, you know, in board meetings, like I have before *nervous cough*)
So here’s my current top four cheesy tunes for you to enjoy on this silly Tuesday. Be silly today, for tomorrow could be very serious.
1. Hanson – MmmBop. Look, you’ve sung it more times in your head than you have the National Anthem. Just accept this cheese today, and be okay with it. You *have* drummed your way through this on your desk before. It’s okay.
