1. Neil Hilborn. You’ve all watched his OCD poem. But his other works have made me cry and laugh. These are the ways I wish I could always speak. But I suck at speaking, I can only write. These three, in particular, have made me shake at their gigantic humanity. Please note that you may find the language offensive, so skip those if you don’t like the occasional f-bomb. I love that he does not take his idiosyncracies or alleged flaws as errors. He makes them his power.
2. My ice-cream pen. Because you cannot write an angry word with an ice cream pen. You cannot be sad when holding an ice-cream pen. I have a strawberry pen, and a chocolate pen too. My daughter bought them for me, for my birthday. With her own money. If I needed to run from my desk, very quickly, I would grab these pens first, and my computer second. They mean that much to me.

3. White noise. I’m going to just get lost here, and find an hour of brain calm, I think. Be warned, this will make you pee.
