my best friend (the one with whom i recently celebrated a 13 year anniversary…), sent this to me once. I’m posting it today because I needed to read it again…
Scientists say that the dust of stars make up the same matter that humans, animals, and all things on earth are made of. We evolved from stars and when we pass we become part of this earth which may also be a star, visible to whoever may be out there, millions of light years away.
By the time the light from stars reaches us, they have already died and don’t really exist at all. Just their light lingers on as a remnant of what used to be there. That’s why people that pass away are compared to stars, their light also lingers on long after their passing, visible to all as a testament to the light they shone into other people’s lives.
And if you look really hard at the sky tonight, you might just notice the one that shines more brightly then the others. As the whole world continues below it, it may go unnoticed to many, but to you…
…it will be the brightest star you have ever seen in your life.
