six songs for today

Posted on August 18, 2011

Because I need it today, so I thought I’d share it. This is today’s cheer me up through youtube playlist. No, I don’t care if you think it’s lame… 🙂

One. Sugar, We’re Going Down – Fall Out Boy (because it sums up a time where I felt the most beaten, and the most strong)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhG-vLZrb-g]

Two. F*** You – Ceelo Green (because it’s a cool lil ditty that always puts a smile on my face)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pc0mxOXbWIU&ob=av3e]

Three. Wunderkind – Alanis Morissette (because it reminds me, of so so much)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnGdx40919M]

Four. The Lazy Song – Bruno Mars (a firm favourite of my daughter’s)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLexgOxsZu0]

Five. The Black Parade – My Chemical Romance (particularly for its significant relevance towards the last conversation I had with my father before he died)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDWgsQhbaqU]

Six. Since You Been Gone – Kelly Clarkson (because I love the way she loses her stuff in this. I daydream about this kind of release).

    Some awesome music you have there.

    I also have days when the only thing that will keep me from going bananas is a soundtrack that kick’s butt.
