Weird! I had a similar experience once. We had to write an essay at school about life, and I wrote that what I wanted in life was to be happy, ie to have a life that was more happy than not, or to be contented. My teacher wrote back that I was silly because no one could be happy all the time. I think she completely misunderstood me at least.
